 Without a good source for gift industry credit reports, making informed decisions is a real challenge. That's why my GAIN membership has been so valuable over the years.
The GAIN database gives me easy access to credit information on gift accounts compiled from more than 200 companies doing business in all aspects of the gift industry.
By helping me avoid shipping to bad accounts, the credit reports and follow up information I get through GAIN has easily saved me well over $50,000. And, the reports are more cost effective compared to D&B and other like services.
In addition to giving members on-line access to trade references, GAIN is a forum for discussing mutual accounts and credit department issues such as reclamations, creditors committees and bankruptcies. And the GAIN conferences are well worth attending, providing excellent speakers and an opportunity to network with other credit professionals to discuss questions and issues that come up day to day.
